Hybrid Learning Systems ARG Portal Software to be Used at DevLearn 2009
Lemont Furnace, PA - November 9, 2009 – Hybrid Learning Systems web-based portal software solution will be used at DevLearn 2009 to support an Alternate Reality Game (ARG) being conducted at the conference. The game, titled “Zombie Apocalypse”, is being used to teach people the benefits of using social media in learning environments through a collection of clues that are found at the conference, through a Twitter feed or through a number of other channels. Players must form teams and discover these clues that contain a code that is entered through a mobile phone or the web portal.
The web portal software offers social networking tools, an integrated scoring system and mobile device access. The portal can be seen at http://za.hybrid-dev.com
Kris Rockwell, President/CEO of Hybrid Learning Systems, will be participating in a panel discussion along with members of Tandem Learning to review the implementation of the ARG and its use as a learning tool on Friday, November 13th.
