Zombie Apocalypse

Developed for the DevLearn09 conference, Zombie Apocalypse is an Alternate Reality Game (ARG) experience that was used to teach players the importance of social media and how it could be leveraged as a training tool within their organizations. Players formed teams and interacted through the Hybrid Learning Systems Avenue portal and found clues to defeat the "zombies" that were invading their networks and preventing social interaction.

Zombie Apocalypse hosted over 200 users over a three week period up to and including the DevLearn09 conference. The game play was conducted through web browsers and over mobile phones through the use of a clue entry system in the Avenue portal application.
